What is "Self-Represented / Talent Scout"?

Self-Represented is a special type of listing in Casting Workbook. it allows non-represented actors to have control over their photos, videos and other materials, as well as submit themselves directly to some casting jobs, based on the preference of the Casting Director.

Self-Represented actors are searchable by qualified Casting and Producers when they're looking for talent, and agents looking to add on to their roster can also search those accounts.

Represented actors who are also looking for new representation or representation in a new city might also want to use a self-represented listing to announce their availability. Note: Your current agent CAN see this listing so be sure to discuss it with them.

Talent Scout is a name we gave these users a long time ago, but we're nostalgic for it so it creeps in sometimes.
