If you are planning to audition for Film & Television, you need to have a scene where you are speaking to a person and also listening to the other person speak.
Great actors can say many things without using words by actively listening and reacting to someone while being recorded by the camera.
If you are also planning to audition for theatre, you should prepare a separate monologue (you are the only person speaking) in addition to your film and television demo scene.
